A workshop on the core topic of sub-project 2 was held at the University of Bern from 4-5 May 2023. The following international experts were recruited for the workshop:
- Cilliers Breytenbach (Stellenbosch)
- Hellen Bond (Edinburgh)
- Jan Opsomer (Leuven)
- Reinhard Feldmeier (Göttingen)
- Troels Engberg-Pedersen (Copenhagen)
Doctoral and postdoctoral researchers from the University of Bern and other universities also took part in the workshop and presented the results of their research that was relevant to the workshop topic.
